A leading consulting firm is seeking a Partnership Taxation Manager to join its growing tax practice. This hybrid position offers the opportunity to take ownership of complex partnership tax matters while collaborating with a seasoned team of professionals in a high-performance, client-focused environment. The role involves managing client engagements, mentoring junior staff, and delivering strategic tax solutions. The position is based in Philadelphia, PA with a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office, 2 days remote).

How You'll Contribute

  • Lead reviews of complex partnership tax returns and deliver expert tax consulting services
  • Assess partnership agreements and oversee Internal Revenue Code (IRC) 704b accounts
  • Manage multi-disciplinary teams across various industries to deliver tax solutions on time and within budget
  • Mentor, train, and review staff performance
  • Provide insights on Sub-chapter K partnership taxation, M&A, and entity structuring
  • Conduct research and respond to IRS or other tax authority inquiries
  • Foster client relationships and support business development activities
  • Ensure accuracy, efficiency, and quality in all client deliverables

What Makes You a Great Fit

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • CPA license
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • At least 6 years of progressive tax experience (public accounting or combination of public/private)
  • Experience in partnership structuring
  • Must be able to work in-office in Philadelphia 3 days a week
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Background from a Top 10 Accounting Firm

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with entity formation and M&A transactions
  • Expertise in partnership taxation (Sub-chapter K), joint ventures, and non-corporate entity returns
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Proven success in business development and client relationship management
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
