PROSPR Financial Wellness is a US-based growing startup in the financial mental health and wellness sector, a center dedicated to reducing the stress and anxiety people feel around money. Currently focused on delivering world-class services that revolutionize their clients’ relationship with money, they’re also preparing to expand their technology and app functionalities in the near future. Their mission is to empower individuals and businesses with the financial tools and insights to build the resiliency, clarity, and focus needed to thrive.
About the Role:
As they scale, we’re looking for a technically versatile problem-solver to own, optimize, and maintain their backend systems while providing critical tech support to the team and users.
This is a part-time (20 hours/week), remote position for a Technical Systems Manager & Automation Developer who will serve as the backbone of PROSPR’s technology stack. Your primary focus will be maintaining and improving their Google Workspace Script-based automation, troubleshooting tech issues, and ensuring smooth operations across their internal tools and customer-facing app.
You’ll work closely with the founder to oversee their Swift-based iOS app. This role is ideal for a proactive, communicative, and highly reliable tech generalist who thrives in a startup environment.
Core Responsibilities:
1. Google Apps Script Development - Google Workspace (top priority)
Maintain and improve internal tooling built on Google Sheets, Docs, etc.
Automate workflows, reporting, data transfers, etc.
2. Zapier / Integration Management
Set up or fix existing automations
Connect various internal systems
3. Internal Tech Support
Respond to ad hoc tech questions from the founder or clients (e.g., lost contacts, small bugs)
Possibly support basic help requests from users of the app or website
4. App Maintenance (lower priority, but growing over time)
Oversee existing iOS app (coded in Swift) — not necessarily writing Swift code, but acting as owner and liaison with freelancers if needed
Eventually contribute to updates or feature management if capable
5. Website/CRM/Backend Admin
Update company-facing tools (could include CRM, spreadsheets, or light frontend tweaks)
Ensure systems are connected and working correctly
Skill Requirements:
Fluent in Google Apps Script and comfortable managing Google Sheets-based systems.
Proactive problem-solver who can work independently with a non-technical founder.
Great responsiveness (especially during EST hours).
Solid English.
Strong communication—able to explain tech simply to non-technical stakeholders.
Comfortable with tech troubleshooting and platform ownership.
Generalist mindset: willing to jump into whatever tech-related issue arises
Nice-to-Have:
Experience with Zapier (or other no-code automation tools).
Ability to oversee iOS app codebase (Swift knowledge is a plus, but not required if they can manage external devs).
WordPress or CRM familiarity.
Remote work. You may be located in any country, just need a good Internet connection, a powerful computer to work from, and the opportunity to adjust your working schedule for the team.
Ownership: You’ll be the go-to tech lead for a mission-driven startup.
Innovative Environment: Be part of a growing startup where your technical skills directly influence company trajectory.
Flexibility & Autonomy: Enjoy a remote, part-time role with opportunities to expand as they grow.
Professional Growth: Work on diverse projects, from backend optimizations to app development and AI integrations.
Mission-Driven: Contribute to solutions that enhance financial wellness for individuals and businesses alike.
Future opportunities: Potential to grow into a full-time role.
Salary will be discussed during the interview. Paid in USD.
