Join a reputable community-based healthcare facility in Beckley, West Virginia as the Director of Cardiovascular Services (DCS). This leadership role oversees interventional cardiology and vascular programs, driving innovation, performance, and quality across cardiovascular services including a two-bay Cath Lab with 24/7 STEMI readiness and over 1,200 interventional procedures annually.
How You'll Contribute
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for cardiovascular services across ambulatory, acute, post-acute, and community care settings.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, anesthesia providers, and leadership to improve patient outcomes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Lead program development, quality initiatives, and service line innovations.
- Ensure service line compliance with accreditation and safety standards.
- Manage departmental financials and staffing, including recruitment, retention, and professional development of nursing staff.
- Drive a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Current West Virginia RN license or eligibility to obtain one.
- 5-7 years of progressive leadership experience within Cardiovascular Services.
- BLS and ACLS certifications (or ability to obtain within a specified time).
- Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and work collaboratively with surgeons and anesthesiologists.
