How You'll Contribute
- Lead and oversee daily operations of the Labor and Delivery unit
- Ensure quality patient care, staff development, and nursing performance evaluations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, leadership, and external nursing programs
- Support patient-centered, natural birthing experiences when desired
- Manage staff scheduling and address coverage gaps
- Serve as a key resource during emergencies and irregular hours
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Active RN license in the state of Alabama (or eligible for endorsement)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required or commitment to obtain
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Labor and Delivery
- Strong knowledge of operating room procedures and L&D protocol
- Prior leadership or management experience in a clinical setting
- Certification in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Intermediate AWHONN Fetal Monitoring
- Must have a clean nursing license with no disciplinary actions
Preferred Qualifications:
- 10+ years in the nursing field
- Experience in ICU or other specialty areas
