RHEI, in partnership with a major global media client, is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Music Channel Manager with a background in the music industry and experience managing YouTube channels. This role is ideal for someone who is deeply engaged in music culture, fluent in YouTube best practices, and excited about curating vibrant, community-driven digital spaces.
You will manage multiple music channels on YouTube, embodying the persona of the channel as if you were the creator behind it. You wonât be making musicâbut it will look like you built the entire profile. Your focus will be on channel programming, community engagement, and delivering an authentic music fan experience.
Manage YouTube channels for music-focused content partners, ensuring consistency and quality
Program the channels with trending and relevant music content, managing daily/weekly/monthly release calendars
Write engaging titles and metadata, and ensure video quality control
Design thumbnails and simple visuals using tools like Photoshop, Canva, or Figma (you must provide your own software)
Foster community engagement through posts and comments in the Community Tabâalways staying in character with the channelâs tone and audience
Identify music trends and adapt channel strategy accordingly
Collaborate with designers, post-production specialists, and the broader content team
Apply YouTube algorithm knowledge and performance best practices
Assist in onboarding and mentoring new team members as needed
Use AI tools like ChatGPT to optimize workflows and content quality
Take full ownership of the channel experience and performance
2+ years of experience managing YouTube channels, social media content, or working in a music/digital media role
Strong English communication skills (team meetings are in English)
Deep understanding of YouTubeâs algorithm, growth strategies, and community building
Passion for music and broad knowledge across genres (hip hop, rock, country, musicals, â90s, etc.)
Exceptional attention to detail and aesthetic judgment
Comfort with spreadsheets and reporting
Experience with basic design tools (Photoshop, Canva, Figma, etc.)
Ability to work independently and communicate proactivelyâespecially when bandwidth is tight
Interest in AI and tech-enabled content creation is a plus

Interest in niche genres such as heavy metal, American country, musicals, or '90s music.
Familiarity with Latin American music trends.
Previous experience in video or music production workflows.
