How You'll Contribute
- Obtain patient demographics and triage patients for entry into the EMR system
- Update patient medications and provide instructions and discharge information
- Conduct finger sticks and obtain A1c and blood glucose results on-site
- Answer telephones, take messages, and return voicemails
- Call back patients regarding test results when appropriate
- Provide general assistance and support to patients
What Makes You a Great Fit
Must have Medical Assistant experience; endocrine experience is a plus but not necessary
Willingness to learn and be trained in specific tasks
Ability to work 32-36 hours per week, Monday through Friday
Ability to commute to Bloomfield Hills, MI 48302
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
