Local Class A CDL Driver – Home Daily

Crescent City Recruitment Group is partnering with a freight company operating with over 40 carriers nationwide to hire a Local Class A CDL Driver for a dedicated grocery delivery account based in North Hatfield, MA. This is a home daily position with strong earning potential, consistent miles, and steady year-round freight. Position serves a dedicated grocery account (fresh & frozen) with multi-stop deliveries primarily to NYC Boroughs & Long Island.

Responsibilities

• Perform multi-stop deliveries to supermarkets and distribution centers for a dedicated grocery account (fresh & frozen freight).
• Handle an average of 15–20 stops per week.
• Operate primarily within NYC Boroughs & Long Island (80–90%), and occasionally NJ, MA, VT, RI, NH, ME, PA, and Upstate NY within a ~350-mile radius of North Hatfield, MA.
• Use electric pallet jacks for deliveries (training provided).
• Work split shifts/assigned schedule (start around 2:30 AM) with 12–14 hour shifts; adhere to required days and schedules including occasional 6-day peak schedules.
• Operate in a slip-seat environment; drivers cannot take trucks home.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 3 months CDL-A experience.
• Comfortable delivering into NYC boroughs.
• Reliable transportation to and from the account location.
