We are currently seeking a skilled Labor & Employment Attorney with 4-7 years of litigation experience to join a dynamic and fast-paced legal team. The successful candidate will play a key role in handling complex employment-related legal matters and providing strategic counsel to clients.
How You'll Contribute
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage employment litigation cases, including class actions related to wage and hour disputes, discrimination, and harassment claims.
- Respond to regulatory inquiries and complaints from agencies such as the EEOC and DFEH.
- Take and defend depositions, prepare for and participate in trials and arbitrations.
- Provide day-to-day advice on federal and California employment law, including leave laws and wage compliance.
- Counsel clients on labor relations matters and internal policy reviews.
What Makes You a Great Fit
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in California.
- 4 to 7 years of employment litigation experience; open to more seasoned attorneys.
- Demonstrated experience with trials or arbitrations.
- In-depth understanding of California and federal employment regulations, including ADA, FEHA, FMLA, CFRA, and wage/hour laws.
- Strong background in client counseling and labor relations.
