Why This Role Matters

MissionHires is seeking an IT Applications Manager to lead and own the NetSuite ERP platform for a leading North American integrator of mission‑critical voice, security, and data solutions. This hands-on leader will define the ERP roadmap, oversee governance and performance, drive continuous improvement across finance and operations, and manage integrations, vendors, and a small development team. The role is hybrid in Dallas, TX (3 days/week on-site) with competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

How You'll Contribute

  • Own and drive the NetSuite ERP roadmap, governance framework, and long-term strategy
  • Partner with executive and functional leaders to translate business needs into scalable ERP solutions
  • Lead continuous improvement across finance, order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, inventory, reporting, and related processes
  • Ensure system architecture alignment with enterprise IT and data governance standards
  • Integrate acquired companies’ systems into the organization’s IT infrastructure
  • Oversee NetSuite configuration, customization, workflows, dashboards, roles, and permissions
  • Manage releases, upgrades, enhancements, and system performance optimization
  • Evaluate, implement, and manage third-party integrations and SaaS connections
  • Ensure system reliability, security, compliance, and internal controls (SOX preferred)
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, data engineering, and security teams for seamless interoperability
  • Maintain data integrity, master data governance, and reporting accuracy
  • Lead and mentor NetSuite developers; manage partner and vendor relationships
  • Own related budgets, timelines, and delivery quality
  • Plan and execute NetSuite enhancements, module rollouts, and expansion initiatives
  • Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver on time and on budget
  • Develop training programs and support organizational change management
  • Support executive reporting and communicate program status and outcomes

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • 7+ years of NetSuite experience including administration and development across several areas such as Financials, Global Business Management, EPM, Inventory Management, Order Management, Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, and/or Procurement
  • 3+ years in a NetSuite management role within a complex, multi-location organization (1,000+ employees)
  • Strong understanding of financial systems, accounting processes, and operational workflows
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional ERP initiatives in complex IT environments
  • Knowledge of SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, REST/SOAP integrations, and reporting tools (preferred)
  • Demonstrated project management expertise delivering on time and on budget
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and executive stakeholder skills
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution and business process optimization mindset
  • Data-driven decision-making and ability to operate in a fast-paced, multi-system enterprise
  • NetSuite certifications (strongly preferred)
  • Experience in technology or communications industries (preferred)
  • Exposure to JD Edwards (preferred)
  • Experience integrating acquisitions into existing infrastructure (preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Finance, Business, or related field
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, now and in the future
  • Local to Dallas, TX or willing to relocate within the U.S.; hybrid schedule (3 days/week on-site)
