MissionHires is hiring on behalf of a reputable, community-focused insurance agency in Central Florida for a Commercial Insurance Customer Service Representative. In this client-facing role, you’ll support the Commercial Lines team across new business, renewals, client service, and data integrity. Ideal candidates bring 1-2+ years of insurance experience (commercial preferred), strong communication and follow-through, and familiarity with COIs, endorsements, and an Agency Management System. How You'll Contribute

  • Manage incoming commercial insurance leads and intake documentation
  • Collect underwriting information and prepare applications and proposals
  • Coordinate with carriers and commercial team to obtain quotes
  • Respond promptly and professionally to client calls and emails
  • Process policy changes, endorsements, and billing inquiries
  • Issue and manage Certificates of Insurance (COIs)
  • Assist clients with claims reporting and follow-up
  • Support renewal workflows: gather documentation, update apps, and remarket as needed
  • Schedule and coordinate client review meetings
  • Maintain accurate records in the agency management system (e.g., Nexsure or similar)
  • Ensure documentation compliance with internal and external guidelines
  • Support risk management processes and follow established protocols

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • 1-2+ years of experience in the insurance industry (commercial lines preferred)
  • Active 4-40 or 2-20 license, or willingness to obtain
  • Proven communication, customer service, and follow-up skills
  • High attention to detail with strong multitasking and organizational ability
  • Experience with COIs, endorsements, and carrier correspondence
  • Familiarity with an Agency Management System (e.g., Nexsure or equivalent)
  • Nice-to-have: Prior Commercial Lines experience
  • Nice-to-have: Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Nice-to-have: Knowledge of commercial coverages (GL, Workers Comp, BOP, Property, Auto, Umbrella)
