HVAC Commercial Project Manager - Briarcliff Manor, NY

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled HVAC Commercial Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC Commercial Project management, with the ability to lead and mentor a team of technicians.

A retired senior technician or a senior technician that has a physical limitation not allowing him or her to work in the field make good candidates as well.

Commercial Project Manager Overview:

• Must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in the HVAC trade.

• Knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork, insulation, hydronic piping, refrigerant piping, controls

• Be able to manage multiple projects concurrently

• Ability to go to into the field to meet with men, track progress and attend job meetings

• Create Budgets and track cost

• Manage procurement of approved and specified equipment, ensuring on-time delivery and project schedules

• ● Create and distribute Closeout Documents upon final job payment

• ● Create and track Project Submittals, RFIs, Piping Shop Drawings, and Sheetmetal Shop Drawings

• ● Responsible for creating and maintaining tracking logs for equipment, material, and submittals in order to document dates for approval, ordering, shipping, tracking, delivery to our warehouse, and delivery to-site

• ● Attended weekly meetings with the Office and Field staff to coordinate Job progress and timeline

• Created Takeoffs to estimate the cost of Insulation, Sheetmetal, Piping, and Equipment for upcoming Project Bids

• Communicate with field workers, clients and suppliers.

• Basic technical skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.

• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines

• Provide excellent customer service, resolving issues promptly and professionally

Requirements:

• Mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills

• Engineering background a plus

• Create and ditribute closeout documents a plus

• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities

• Universal EPA Certification

Experience:

• HVAC Project Manager - Commercial: 5 years (Preferred)
