Why This Role Matters

MissionHires is seeking a hands-on, execution-focused Head of Human Resources – Operations to lead HR delivery across five high-volume manufacturing production units on one campus. This operational HR leader will drive consistent HR process execution that supports daily plant operations, workforce stability, compliance, recruitment, payroll coordination, training, and talent pipeline development. The role partners closely with plant and operations leadership to ensure HR initiatives directly enable production performance and continuity.

How You'll Contribute

  • Ensure consistent execution of HR policies, procedures, and compliance standards across all production units
  • Advise plant leadership on attendance, performance management, disciplinary actions, and workplace conduct
  • Maintain compliance with labor and employment regulations
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment execution for technical, professional, and production roles
  • Oversee recruitment teams and pipelines to meet ongoing staffing needs; improve time-to-fill and hiring efficiency
  • Lead and coach HR Managers supporting multiple facilities to execute employee relations and attendance management
  • Partner with operations leadership to address workforce challenges and drive engagement and stability
  • Own training programs: onboarding, safety, technical skill development, and leadership initiatives aligned to operational needs
  • Develop external talent pipelines via technical schools, universities, and industry networks
  • Identify and develop internal talent to support succession planning and workforce growth
  • Oversee payroll coordination to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance; validate inputs with payroll teams
  • Manage complex employee relations matters: investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions
  • Track and drive HR performance metrics: headcount, turnover, absenteeism, training completion, pipeline readiness
  • Ensure standardized, aligned HR processes across all areas and units
  • Support production environments including HFW, spiral welded, and LSAW pipe manufacturing operations
  • Deliver key outcomes: staffing levels, policy enforcement, payroll accuracy, structured training, sustainable pipelines, effective ER, full compliance
