Why This Role Matters

MissionHires is hiring a Growth Manager Latam (Fintech) to drive customer acquisition and retention across Brazil, Mexico, Central America, and the Andean region. Reporting to the Regional Manager, Latam, you will combine community-led growth, partnerships, paid/organic marketing, CRM, and data-driven experimentation to scale the corridor. You will conduct customer research, lead partnerships and events, manage agencies and influencers, optimize operations with Product/Ops/Eng/Support, and personally engage with customers across owned channels. Ideal candidates bring deep Latam diaspora networks, a test-and-learn mindset, and a passion for immigrant communities and financial inclusion.

How You'll Contribute

  • Build trust-based relationships with Latam diaspora communities in-person and online
  • Conduct ongoing customer research with transfer senders to inform growth strategy
  • Initiate, negotiate, and manage partnerships with community associations and organizations
  • Plan and execute offline and online advertising and brand awareness campaigns
  • Recruit, coordinate, and lead community ambassadors, champions, and influencers
  • Manage external agencies for paid media, creatives, and events
  • Own and operate CRM to drive acquisition, retention, and reactivation
  • Analyze and improve operational efficiency and corridor financials in partnership with Product, Ops, Eng, and Support
  • Deep dive into customer pain points and collaborate cross-functionally to resolve them
  • Travel across priority markets to engage diaspora communities and grow the customer base
  • Handle low-level customer complaints; provide CS, Product, and Ops with insights to improve CX and product quality
  • Engage customers directly via calls and responses across owned media channels
  • Collaborate with the Country Manager on market growth plans, budgets, CAC targets, and CRM campaigns
  • Apply a data-driven, test-and-learn approach to growth experiments and reporting

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Location: Based in Brazil, NYC, or Mexico City
  • 4–5 years’ experience in high-growth environments (startups, marketing, fintech)
  • Exceptional knowledge of and networks within Latam diaspora communities
  • Proven background in business development, sales, marketing, and analytics
  • Hands-on experience with organic and inorganic (paid) marketing activities
  • Experience managing CRM platforms and lifecycle campaigns
  • Demonstrated ability to source and manage ambassadors, influencers, and community leaders
  • Experience managing agencies for paid media, creative, and events
  • Fluency in English and Spanish
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable with public-facing engagement
  • Resourceful, scrappy operator able to achieve impact with limited resources
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights/weekends for events and customer meetings
  • Organized self-starter with strong project management skills in fast-paced, target-driven settings
  • Mission- and community-oriented; passion for immigrant communities and financial inclusion
  • Plus: Relationships with Latam influencers and celebrities in the region
