A renowned logistics company is expanding its non-asset truckload brokerage and hiring a pure hunter Freight Brokerage Sales Rep to win new shipper accounts. You’ll prospect, qualify, and close net-new truckload (dry van, reefer, flatbed) business, own your pipeline and pace, and collaborate with operations and carrier teams to ensure service excellence. This role focuses exclusively on new business development—no carrier management, dispatching, or account babysitting. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of selling non-asset truckload brokerage directly to shippers, a strong track record of landing new accounts, and deep knowledge of freight markets, lanes, and pricing.

How You'll Contribute

  • Prospect, qualify, and close new shipper accounts for truckload brokerage (dry van, reefer, flatbed)
  • Develop long-term, trust-based customer relationships focused on service quality over rate-chasing
  • Collaborate with operations and carrier teams to ensure exceptional execution for new customers
  • Independently manage a sales pipeline and set an effective cadence for outreach and follow-up
  • Represent Jarrett Logistics’ brand and value proposition with integrity and professionalism
  • Continuously uncover opportunities through high-volume calling, outreach, and networking

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • 3+ years of non-asset-based truckload brokerage sales experience selling directly to shippers (not a carrier with owned assets)
  • Proven track record of winning and onboarding new shipper accounts
  • Strong understanding of freight markets, lanes, and pricing strategies
  • History of stable employment and sustained performance (no frequent job hopping)
  • High drive, grit, and integrity with a competitive, team-oriented mindset
  • Comfort with a 100% new business development hunter role (no carrier management/dispatching/tracking)
