Founding Engineer - San Francisco, California

Revic AI is hiring a Founding Engineer to build the context and orchestration layer for AI‑first revenue software. You’ll transform messy GTM data into a collective memory, design agentic planners/executors, and deliver outcomes where sellers work. You’ll own systems end‑to‑end, ship in tight loops with customers, and measure success by adoption, pipeline lift, and time‑to‑value. Hybrid in SF, NYC, or Vancouver; strong ownership, meaningful equity, and senior team.

• Create a unified, tenant‑isolated context graph from multi‑source GTM data (CRM and beyond) capturing signals that drive won deals
• Design and implement agentic orchestration (planner/executor, tool interfaces, policies, MCP‑style) to turn context into actions
• Build simple evaluation harnesses, quality gates, and observability to measure task completion, latency, and outcome quality
• Expose capabilities through native product surfaces (apps, chat, integrations) to minimize context switching for sellers
• Balance accuracy, latency, and cost across retrieval and agent runs; design fallbacks, safeguards, and resiliency
• Instrument end‑to‑end funnels and define success metrics with product and customers (adoption, retention, pipeline lift)
• Own backend/platform systems from design to production: data modeling, APIs, infra, and CI/CD
• Collaborate tightly with GTM and customers; iterate quickly with “ship small, learn fast” loops
• Maintain strong privacy, security, and multi‑tenant boundaries across data flows

• Owner/builder mindset with strong product taste; ability to frame problems, choose simple paths, and own outcomes
• 4+ years building and operating backend/platform systems end‑to‑end with 0→1 delivery and measurable business impact
• Fluency in Python and experience standing up cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)
• Proven experience unifying messy, multi‑source data into structures products can reason over; strong reliability instincts
• Comfort making decisions with ~70% information and turning ambiguity into simple, testable systems
• Experience with or appetite to learn agent orchestration/planning, retrieval and graph‑shaped context, and eval frameworks
• Solid understanding of multi‑tenant architecture, privacy, and data integrity
• Nice to have: distributed systems at scale; FastAPI/GraphQL, PostgreSQL/DynamoDB, Kubernetes, Pulumi, Spark/Databricks; React exposure
