Senior Accounting - High Growth Fintech - CDMX

This role is critical to building the financial foundation of a global fintech organization. As we scale across borders and product lines, we need a finance leader who can ensure operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and data-driven decision-making. You’ll play a key role in supporting leadership with financial insights, enabling sustainable growth, and shaping scalable processes from the ground up.

Financial Operations

• Manage day-to-day accounting tasks including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annual).

• Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and tax regulations.

Financial Planning & Strategy

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling efforts.

• Provide financial insights to leadership for data-driven decision-making.

• Support audits, due diligence processes, and investor reporting.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Product, Operations, and Legal teams on financial structuring, pricing strategies, and capital planning.

• Contribute to building scalable finance processes and systems as the company grows.

• 3+ years of experience in accounting in a Tech, FinTech, or high-growth startup environment.

• Fintech or startup experience is a MUST.

• Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and regulatory compliance.

• Experience in multi-currency, cross-border operations is a plus.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
