MissionHires is partnering with a healthcare client to hire an Epic Analyst (Core Clinical). This role supports inpatient, ambulatory, and ancillary workflows on the Epic platform by analyzing clinical processes, translating operational needs into Epic solutions, and executing build, testing, implementation, and ongoing support. The ideal candidate brings Epic certification, hands-on build experience, and a strong grasp of clinical workflows and change management.

How You'll Contribute

  • Analyze clinical workflows across inpatient, ambulatory, and ancillary settings and translate them into Epic application solutions
  • Interpret clinical policies, operational constraints, and regulatory requirements to inform system design
  • Conduct detailed assessments and document clinical and system requirements
  • Participate in Epic application build, configuration, testing, and validation
  • Support implementation go-lives, cutovers, and post-implementation optimization
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Epic application and integrated system issues
  • Develop goals, policies, procedures, and work standards related to Epic usage
  • Perform quantitative and qualitative system analysis and report findings
  • Train, support, and communicate effectively with clinical and non-clinical end users
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and maintain effective working relationships
  • Adhere to hospital safety protocols, infection control, patient rights, and emergency procedures
  • Maintain Epic certification and participate in ongoing change management and project activities

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, healthcare informatics, or a closely related field OR a valid Nevada RN license
  • Three (3) years of experience in a clinical setting impacted by an Epic implementation
  • Two (2) years of hands-on Epic application build, testing, and support experience
  • Epic application implementation experience
  • Current Epic certification in one or more: Willow Ambulatory (Pharmacy), Optime/Anesthesia (required at time of hire)
  • Commitment to ongoing Epic certification maintenance
  • Knowledge of clinical workflows across inpatient, ambulatory, and ancillary care
  • Understanding of Epic EHR and healthcare information systems
  • Familiarity with change management and project management methodologies
  • Awareness of healthcare laws, codes, and regulatory requirements
  • Proficiency with standard office procedures, records management, and business communication
  • Knowledge of hospital safety protocols, infection control, patient rights, and emergency response
  • Ability to translate complex technical and clinical concepts for end users
  • Proven capability to design Epic-based solutions and exercise independent judgment
  • Experience developing and implementing goals, policies, procedures, and work standards
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for Epic applications and related systems
  • Effective communication and relationship-building with diverse stakeholders
  • Efficient and safe use of computers, software applications, and equipment
