Employment and Labor Attorney - Los Angeles, California

MissionHires is recruiting a Mid-Level Employment and Labor Attorney (4–6 years) for our client’s employment litigation team. The role focuses on wage-and-hour class actions and PAGA representative actions, offering meaningful responsibility, mentorship from a Team Leader/Partner, and a clear path to leadership. • Assist in prosecuting wage-and-hour class actions and PAGA representative actions from inception through settlement or trial
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
• Prepare for and take depositions, including defending depositions
• Collaborate with senior attorneys, paralegals, and clients on case strategy and execution
• Independently handle court appearances and tactical litigation tasks
• Supervise and mentor 1–2 junior attorneys and paralegals
• Support the Team Leader/Partner in advancing complex employment litigation matters

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active, good-standing membership with the California State Bar
• 4–6 years of experience in wage-and-hour class actions and PAGA representative actions
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Demonstrated leadership ability and experience managing junior team members
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
