We are seeking an experienced and strategic nursing leader to oversee Women's and Children's Health services at a well-respected medical facility in Beckley, West Virginia. This position offers the chance to lead comprehensive care services for labor & delivery, postpartum, nursery, pediatrics, and NICU in a supportive and technologically advanced environment. The Director will be responsible for developing and executing departmental plans, enhancing patient outcomes, supporting staff development, and ensuring operational excellence. This leader will also collaborate closely with physicians, anesthesia providers, and hospital leadership to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.

How You'll Contribute

  • Lead the Women's & Children's Health department in accordance with evidence-based standards (ACOG, AWHONN, AAP).
  • Manage daily operations across multiple service lines, ensuring quality care and regulatory compliance.
  • Recruit, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Oversee budgets and audits, ensuring financial integrity and resource optimization.
  • Align department initiatives with organizational goals and drive quality improvement measures.
  • Foster interdepartmental collaboration to elevate patient satisfaction and outcomes.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
  • Current West Virginia RN license (or eligibility for licensure).
  • 5-7 years of progressive nursing leadership in Women's and Children's Health settings.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and collaborate with surgeons and anesthesia professionals.
  • BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required (or must be obtained within a defined timeframe).
