Fundraising Manager - Vancouver, Washington

Salary: <p>The salary for this position is $83,000 annually.</p>

Why This Role Matters

The Director of Fundraising is a key member of our fundraising team, responsible for supporting and executing various development activities to advance the mission of Fosterful. This role includes cultivating and managing donor relations, overseeing fundraising events, and managing grant applications and reports. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children experiencing foster care.


How You'll Contribute

  • Own all fundraising activities for our swiftly growing nonprofit as part of the leadership team.

  • Partner with founders and board members as a thought leader in philanthropic efforts AND own all fundraising activity for the organization.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to meet organizational goals.

  • Cultivate, feed and grow relationships with donors, sponsors, and partners.

  • Meet with and develop relationships with key supporters.

  • Plan and execute equitable fundraising practices.

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee fundraising events and campaigns in partnership with the Development Committee.

  • Research and identify potential grant opportunities.

  • Prepare and submit grant applications.

  • Manage and track grant reports and ensure compliance with grant requirements.

  • Collaborate with the team to create compelling fundraising materials and communications.

  • Maintain accurate records of donations and donor information in the database.

  • Provide regular reports on fundraising progress to the executive team and board of directors.

  • Attend networking events.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in fundraising, development, or a related role, non-profit experience preferred.

  • Proven track record of successful fundraising and donor management.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and build strong relationships.

  • Proficiency in fundraising software and CRM systems, including but not limited to Classy, GiveButter and Monday.com.

  • Knowledge of and experience managing digital marketing tools like LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and MailChimp.

  • Proficiency with project management applications such as Monday.com and the Google Office Suite
