Why This Role Matters

We are recruiting for a CT Technologist to join a union-affiliated technical/professional team at a regional healthcare facility. The role supports diagnostic imaging operations and requires critical thinking and independent decision-making. The schedule includes Friday and Saturday nights (11 pm-7 am), Tuesday and Thursday (7:30 am-4 pm), and Monday mornings (8 am-12 pm), with Monday through Friday availability and rotating holidays. You will perform CT and primary radiology procedures, including IV insertions and administering contrast, and may help lead or train others within the department. Imaging systems used include PACS, RIS, and HIS.

How You'll Contribute

  • Perform CT and primary radiology procedures (including IV insertions and administering contrast).
  • Support diagnostic imaging operations and patient care, adhering to infection control practices and protecting patient confidentiality.
  • Utilize imaging systems such as PACS, RIS, and HIS to acquire, process, and manage images.
  • Provide critical thinking and independent decision-making during imaging tasks.
  • Assist in leading or training other staff within the department as needed.
  • Maintain departmental competencies and comply with annual mandatory training (e.g., bloodborne pathogens, infection control).

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Education: Completion of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Licensure/Certification: Current Massachusetts Radiology License (MALIC) and ARRT(RTR) certification required. CT certification preferred (training may be provided). CPR certification required.
  • Experience: At least one year of diagnostic X-ray experience is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, including secure text communication (e.g., TigerText). Proficiency in CT scan and diagnostic imaging (CR/DR/CT).
  • Technical: Experience with PACS, RIS, HIS systems and imaging workflow troubleshooting.
