Why This Role Matters

We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused CT Technologist to join a dynamic imaging team in Southern California. You will perform a wide variety of adult and pediatric computed tomography procedures, work closely with radiologists and technologists, and deliver high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring excellent patient care.

How You'll Contribute

  • Operate CT scanners and related equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures according to departmental protocols and age-specific criteria.
  • Prepare and position patients, explain procedures and answer questions to ensure their comfort and understanding.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, technologists and department leadership to ensure images meet required diagnostic standards.
  • Participate in quality control, performance improvement and other departmental initiatives.
  • Serve as a clinical and technical resource for other technologists, providing support, guidance and mentoring when needed.
  • Participate in the call/shift schedule and remain flexible to meet departmental staffing needs.

What Makes You a Great Fit

Required:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • California Radiologic Technologist license (upon hire).
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association (upon hire).
  • Registry with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography (upon hire).
  • Within one year of hire: ARRT post-primary certification in Computed Tomography (CT).

Preferred:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a hospital or outpatient imaging environment performing CT on adult and pediatric populations.
  • Familiarity with advanced CT protocols, pediatric imaging and high-volume imaging centers.

Required Skill Sets:

  • Advanced knowledge of CT imaging techniques, protocols and equipment operation.
  • Strong patient-care and communication skills, especially in explaining procedures and preparing patients for imaging.
  • Ability to evaluate image quality, troubleshoot technical issues and collaborate with radiologists and technologists to optimize results.
