How You'll Contribute

What You'll Be Doing

New Business Assistance

  • Manage incoming commercial insurance leads
  • Collect necessary documentation and underwriting info
  • Prepare applications and proposals
  • Work closely with carriers and the commercial team on quotes

Client Service & Support

  • Respond to calls/emails with professionalism
  • Process policy changes and endorsements
  • Issue and handle Certificates of Insurance (COIs)
  • Assist clients with claims and billing inquiries

Renewal Process Support

  • Help gather renewal documentation
  • Update applications for remarketing
  • Coordinate preparation and scheduling of review meetings

Administrative & Compliance Tasks

  • Maintain accurate records in the agency management system
  • Ensure documentation is uploaded and compliant with internal/external guidelines
  • Support risk management and follow established protocols

What Makes You a Great Fit

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 1-2+ years of experience in the insurance industry (commercial lines preferred)
  • Active 4-40 or 2-20 license (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong communication, service, and follow-up skills
  • High attention to detail with ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Experience with COIs, endorsements, and carrier correspondence
  • Familiarity with an Agency Management System (e.g., Nexsure or equivalent)

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Prior experience in Commercial Lines specifically
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Knowledge of commercial coverages like General Liability, Workers Comp, BOP, Property, Auto, Umbrella
