We are seeking a dynamic Catering Sales Manager to develop and grow private dining events (30–300 guests), food truck sales, and catering business through lead generation and a mix of traditional and non-traditional sales techniques. The role partners with Marketing and operations teams to create proposals, enhance menus, support promotions, and ensure excellent guest experiences at events.
Develop and enhance existing private dining events from 30 to 300 guests, food truck sales, and catering business while soliciting new business through lead generation and various traditional and non-traditional sales techniques
Develop and champion quarterly marketing plans
Partner with the Marketing Department to support current promotions in the community
Work closely with the Marketing Department to enhance catering menus based on the wants and needs of our guests
Create and prepare all event and catering proposals for the guest, ensuring all costs related to the event have been assessed accurately and communicated fully.
Work closely and effectively with General Managers and Executive Kitchen Managers
Presence at events to greet guests and check on their experience, or play a role in the delivery of an off-site order
Maintain an organized and accurate database of records of all generated contact information and copies of finalized contracts and proposals.
A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a hospitality industry sales role
Ability to work with General Managers on action plans to improve sales initiatives
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Must possess knowledge and experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
Must be a self-starter and be able to attain financial results with minimum supervision
Experience in setting up and running events is recommended
