We are seeking an experienced Cat Scan Technician to join a dynamic and collaborative imaging services team at a well-established healthcare facility in McMinnville, Oregon. This opportunity is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced hospital environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care through diagnostic imaging. This is a mid-level role reporting directly to the Director of Imaging Services.
How You'll Contribute
- Review patient history and physician orders to ensure accurate scan protocols.
- Educate patients on procedures and what to expect during imaging.
- Prepare and administer contrast media and medications as needed.
- Monitor patient condition during scans and respond to any changes appropriately.
- Prepare and calibrate CT imaging equipment; ensure safety standards and quality control protocols are met.
- Perform imaging procedures and analyze scan quality, making adjustments as necessary.
- Document and report imaging results using appropriate systems.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Current Oregon Radiation Operator License
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiology
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
