Why This Role Matters

We are seeking an experienced BIM Manager to lead and scale Building Information Modeling (BIM) standards, workflows, and technology across architectural projects. This role sits at the intersection of design, technology, and delivery, ensuring teams use BIM tools efficiently, consistently, and in alignment with firm-wide standards.

The BIM Manager will support architectural teams from concept through construction, driving model quality, coordination, and innovation.

Reports To: Director of Design Technology / Principal / VP of Architecture

How You'll Contribute

BIM Strategy & Standards

  • Develop, implement, and maintain firm-wide BIM standards, templates, and best practices

  • Establish BIM execution plans (BEPs) for architectural projects

  • Ensure consistency across models, families, parameters, and naming conventions

Project Support & Coordination

  • Support project teams throughout all phases (SD, DD, CD, CA)

  • Project type: Education, High End Residential, public government, public safety, Cultural (libraries, performing arts) MUST HAVE EXP IN AT LEAST ONE

  • Oversee model setup, coordination, and quality control

  • Collaborate with consultants (MEP, Structural, Civil) to ensure model alignment

  • Troubleshoot complex Revit modeling and coordination issues

Technology & Tools

  • Manage and optimize Autodesk Revit, BIM 360 / ACC, Navisworks, and related tools

  • Evaluate and implement new BIM and design technology solutions

  • Support interoperability between BIM, visualization, and analysis tools

Training & Leadership

  • Train and mentor architects and designers on BIM workflows

  • Serve as the primary BIM resource across studios or offices

  • Lead internal BIM training sessions and documentation

Quality Control & Risk Management

  • Conduct regular model audits for accuracy, performance, and compliance

  • Ensure models meet internal standards and client deliverables

  • Support clash detection and coordination processes

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • 7+ years of experience in architectural practice with strong BIM focus

  • 3+ years in a BIM Manager or senior BIM leadership role

  • Expert-level proficiency in Autodesk Revit

  • Strong understanding of architectural documentation and project delivery

  • Experience developing BIM standards and templates

  • Ability to communicate effectively with architects, designers, and consultants

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or related field

  • Experience with:
      ○ Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC / BIM 360)
      ○ Navisworks
      ○ Dynamo (preferred, not required)

  • Familiarity with multi-office or enterprise architectural environments

  • Experience supporting large-scale commercial, institutional, or mixed-use projects
