Why This Role Matters

This role matters because the world of work is getting harder, faster, and more uncertain—and most leaders are not equipped to handle it.

At MORK, our work focuses on helping organizations build purpose-driven, resilient leaders and managers who can adapt to constant change, recover from failure, and lead others through pressure and ambiguity. We do this through keynotes and workshops that treat resilience as a capability that can be trained, not a motivational slogan.

Demand for this work is real and growing. The bottleneck is capacity.

This role exists to own revenue and turn interest into impact so this work can reach more organizations and more leaders. By taking ownership of sales, this person directly enables the founder to focus on content creation and delivery—where the greatest leverage and impact are created.

In short:
this role is essential to scaling meaningful work without compromising our values, our health, or the quality of what we deliver.

How You'll Contribute

n this role, you’ll directly contribute by owning the full sales cycle for MORK’s resilience-focused keynotes and leadership workshops—turning interest, conversations, and demand into real impact.

You’ll work closely with the founder and a small team to:

  • Convert inbound and sourced opportunities into closed engagements

  • Lead discovery, sales conversations, proposal development, and closing

  • Use existing marketing, content, and thought leadership assets to build trust and momentum

  • Maintain a clear, honest pipeline so the business can plan and grow responsibly

By taking ownership of revenue, you enable the company to scale its mission—helping more leaders and organizations build resilience, adapt to change, and perform under pressure—without compromising our values, our health, or the quality of our work.

Your contribution isn’t just sales results; it’s helping meaningful work reach the people who need it most.

What Makes You a Great Fit

You’re a great fit for this role if you’re someone who wants real ownership, not a scripted sales job—and if you care as much about how you sell as what you sell.

You bring experience selling complex, trust-based services and are comfortable leading thoughtful sales conversations with senior leaders. You know how to ask good questions, handle ambiguity, and move deals forward without pressure or hype.

You value curiosity and humility—you’re willing to learn, test new approaches, and admit when you don’t know something. You believe great work is done in teams, not by lone heroes, and you collaborate closely with marketing, prospecting, and leadership to win together.

You’re motivated by purpose, not just commission. You care about helping people grow, adapt, and become more resilient—and you want your work to have real impact. At the same time, you take ownership of results and understand that revenue is what allows meaningful work to scale.

Finally, you understand that sustainable performance requires health. You know how to work hard without burning yourself or others out, and you bring discipline, self-awareness, and professionalism to how you show up every day.

If that sounds like you, this role will feel challenging, meaningful, and worth your energy.

Who We Are, What We Stand For

MORK exists to help leaders and organizations become more resilient, purpose-driven, and human in a world that is changing faster than most people are prepared for.

AI, economic volatility, geopolitical uncertainty, and constant disruption have fundamentally changed how people work and lead. Most organizations feel this pressure—but few are actually building the human capabilities required to adapt, recover from failure, and keep moving forward when things get hard.

That’s the gap we exist to fill.

Through keynotes and workshops, we help leaders and managers build resilience as a skill—not as motivation or theory, but as a capability that can be practiced, strengthened, and applied under real pressure.

MORK is a founder-led company built by Patrick Mork after more than 25 years building companies and leading teams through growth, failure, and change. Patrick has operated at senior levels inside both startups and global organizations—including serving as Chief Marketing Officer of Google Play—and has spent much of the last decade working directly with leaders under sustained pressure.

The focus on resilience isn’t theoretical. It comes from lived experience: watching capable people burn out, teams fracture under stress, and organizations struggle not because of poor strategy—but because leaders were never taught how to handle uncertainty, failure, and constant change. MORK exists to change that.

At the core of MORK are five values that guide how we work, who we hire, and how we make decisions:

  • Curiosity – We stay curious, test new ideas, and step outside our comfort zones to learn and grow.

  • Humility – We recognize what we don’t know, start over when needed, and remain open to being wrong.

  • Team – We believe meaningful work is built together. We prioritize the team and the mission over individual ego.

  • Purpose over profits – Impact comes first. Revenue is a result of helping others, not the goal in itself.

  • Health is everything – Sustainable impact requires mental, physical, and emotional health. Burnout is not a badge of honor.

We don’t expect perfection on these values—but we do expect honesty about where they’re hard.

MORK is not a company for people looking to coast, chase status, or optimize only for money.
It is a place for people who want to do meaningful work, take ownership, stay healthy, and help others become stronger in the process.
