Fosterful is hiring a compassionate and reliable Case Aide to support children and caregivers in the foster care system. This role focuses on providing trauma-informed, hands-on support to help foster families succeed. The ideal candidate is flexible, solution-focused, and passionate about making a difference. As a Case Aide, you will provide personalized support aligned with our mission and values.

How You'll Contribute

Direct Support to Children

  • Provide in-home support and supervision to children and youth in foster care to help keep them safe.

  • Model positive behavior and help manage challenging behaviors.

  • Help children build social, emotional, and daily living skills.

Support for Caregivers

  • Work with foster parents to support children with higher behavioral needs.

  • Help caregivers learn and use positive behavior strategies.

  • Support healthy connections with caregivers, family members, and cultural supports.

Transportation & Services

  • Transport children safely to appointments and activities.

  • Help families connect to community resources and services.

  • Follow and carry out the Caregiver Support Plan.

Documentation & Teamwork

  • Complete required documentation, case notes, reports, and time tracking on time.

  • Follow all organization and state guidelines, including mandatory reporting.

  • Work closely with team members, social workers, and community partners.

  • Attend supervision, meetings, and trainings.

Flexibility & Team Support

  • Work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends when needed.

  • Help cover for team members when needed.

  • Attend community events to support Fosterful’s mission.

What Makes You a Great Fit

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED (college preferred)

  • At least 1 year of experience working with children or families

  • Understanding of trauma-informed care and positive behavior support

  • Strong communication skills and professional boundaries

Licensing

  • Valid Washington driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance

  • Pass required background checks

  • Obtain First Aid, CPR, and BBP certifications

Schedule & Physical Requirements

  • Part-time to full-time hours based on caseload needs and employee availability

  • Flexible schedule (evenings/weekends as needed)

  • Ability to safely transport children

  • Must have the physical ability to stay active with children, including running, playing, and lifting children in and out of car seats

  • Basic computer skills and timely documentation

  • Organized, dependable, and able to work independently or on a team

Perks & Benefits

Regular evening work is required to support family needs and attend events. Flex time may be used if working outside regular hours. This is primarily a field-based position. When not in the field, the Case Aide will work in the office. Cowlitz/Wahkiakum County staff may occasionally work from home.
