An established behavioral health facility in Central New Jersey is seeking an experienced and compassionate Assistant Nurse Manager for their evening shift team. This leadership role is ideal for a licensed RN with a psychiatric nursing background who thrives in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. The Assistant Nurse Manager will help ensure delivery of high-quality care in accordance with professional and regulatory standards and provide administrative support during evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Position is part-time (24 hours/week) with benefits, located in Belle Mead, NJ. Salary starting at $74,742.72 annually with a 3% bonus; relocation considered case-by-case; visa support not available.

How You'll Contribute

  • Lead and supervise nursing staff during evening shifts.
  • Act as clinical and administrative resource in the absence of senior leadership.
  • Ensure patient care meets clinical, regulatory, and safety standards.
  • Participate in chart audits, environmental safety checks, and emergency preparedness.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, staff, and community stakeholders.
  • Support crisis interventions and resolve conflict diplomatically.
  • Maintain compliance with EMTALA and other legal regulations.
  • Provide mentorship and promote a culture of respect, trust, and professional development.
  • Shift details: Hours 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM; Part-time (24 hours/week), including some weekends and holidays.
  • Differentials: Weekday Evening $4.00/hr; Weekend Day $4.00/hr; Weekend Evening $8.00/hr; Weekday Night $6.00/hr; Weekend Night $10.00/hr.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
  • Active NJ RN License.
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License.
  • AHA BLS (to be obtained within 90 days).
  • 3+ years psychiatric RN experience.
  • 1+ year in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong written/verbal communication and tech proficiency.
  • Preferred: Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN).
  • Preferred: Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Certification.
  • Preferred: IV Therapy Certification.
  • Preferred: ANCC Cardiac/Vascular Nurse Certification.
