Architectural Technical Designer - Los Angeles, California

MissionHires is partnering with a client firm to hire an Architectural Technical Designer with 3–8 years of experience, focused on multi-family projects. The ideal candidate is design-oriented, proficient in Revit, and skilled in producing construction documents, coordinating with consultants, and supporting senior designers with graphics and 3D presentations. • Assist the Job Captain in producing construction documents from cartoon set to CD deliverables
• Prepare general project data sheets and fully dimension all plans
• Note and reference all materials and products throughout the drawing set
• Draft undeveloped building and wall sections and assemble project details
• Apply applicable code requirements and assist with back check
• Support plan check corrections and coordinate with consultants
• Transfer hand-sketched unit floor plans and elevations into Revit
• Assist the PM or Job Captain during construction (issue ASIs, respond to RFIs, review shop drawings)
• Create graphics, 3D models, presentations, and design studies to support Senior Designers
• Leverage SketchUp, Revit, Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop to present project work

• 3–8 years of architectural experience with multi-family projects (required)
• Minimum 3–5 years of Revit experience with strong production capabilities
• Working knowledge of building construction Types I, III, and V
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Proficiency with SketchUp, Revit, Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
• Strong understanding of code application and plan check/back check processes
• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture preferred; on track to be licensed
• Ability to prepare complete, well-documented drawing sets and coordinate with consultants

• $28.00 - $38.00/hour ($58,240 - $79,040/yearly)
