Why This Role Matters

We are seeking a dynamic, proactive, technically oriented, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Appliance Service Technician. The successful candidate will play an important role in serving our customers by providing elevated services and support during the service steps of their journey with our products and services.

How You'll Contribute

  • Provide on-site (customer homes) high-quality repair services, maintenance, installations, and pre-installation visits

  • Effectively diagnose appliance problems and provide repair, installing new parts

  • Evaluate parts breakdown (Exploded View) to order parts via Spare Parts Department

  • Control spare parts truck stock and

  • Maintain complete service job reports, fulfilling all Corporate Guidelines, for all jobs provided

  • To work with our customer service team to schedule services and close all jobs scheduled

  • Create technical reports for specific cases whenever required by management

  • Participate in Corporate and Manufacturers in-person Trainings (Locally or internationally) twice a year

  • Participate in Corporate and Manufacturers' virtual Trainings whenever required by management

  • Keep the NPS personal score of a minimum of +38

  • Report to the Subsidiary Service Manager, following all guidelines required for this position

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Proven 3+ years’ experience with household appliance repairs with field experience

  • Experience with High-End and Luxury Appliances is preferred

  • Sealed System experience on domestic refrigeration is a plus.

  • Ability to diagnose electronic and electrical systems and to read, interpret and utilize Electrical diagrams, technical documents and service manuals.

  • Knowledgeable about electrical and electronic circuits

  • Technical degree in mechanics, electronics or refrigeration. 

  • Residential Appliance Technician Certification (Nastic) or General Electrician License is preferred but not required.

  • Need a valid driver’s license and clean driving history.

  • Drive for 2+ hours/day

  • Lift up to 50lbs

  • Constant bending, kneeling

  • Standing for long periods of time (8+ hours)

  • English bilingual proficiency – mandatory

  • Spanish and/or Portuguese bilingual proficiency – preferred

You’ll travel to customer homes to diagnose, repair, maintain, and install household appliances, order parts, and complete service reports.

It’s an on-the-road field role in Miami, and you should be able to drive 2+ hours per day.

At least 3+ years of household appliance repair field experience is required.

NASTeC or a General Electrician License is preferred but not required.

Ability to diagnose electronic/electrical systems, read electrical diagrams and service manuals, and knowledge of electrical/electronic circuits.

English bilingual proficiency is mandatory; Spanish and/or Portuguese is preferred.

You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, bend and kneel frequently, and stand for long periods (8+ hours).
