AI Engineer

We are building a new engineering hub in Argentina focused on assembling a high-performance team solving complex challenges across cloud infrastructure, data systems, and artificial intelligence.

This role sits within a backend engineering team responsible for building and scaling critical systems powering AI-driven enterprise applications. This is not traditional consulting — it is high-impact engineering where scalability, reliability, and execution speed are essential.

You will operate in an environment where technology, data, and AI intersect to deliver production-grade systems at scale.

• Design and develop backend services in Python for high-scale distributed systems and data-intensive platforms.

• Build and deploy production-ready AI capabilities, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, LLM orchestration, and agent-based workflows using Vertex AI.

• Design cloud-native architectures on Google Cloud Platform using services such as Cloud Run, GKE, and Cloud Functions, with a strong focus on scalability, performance, and observability.

• Translate business requirements into technical architecture by producing clear Technical Design Documents (TDDs).

• Own end-to-end delivery of your code, including deployment pipelines and infrastructure using Terraform and CI/CD best practices.

• Collaborate closely with global engineering and product teams based in the US and Europe, actively contributing to technical decision-making.

• Ensure engineering excellence across API design, security, testing, and system reliability.

• 6+ years of professional experience in backend engineering and distributed systems.

• Strong expertise in Python (FastAPI, Flask, or Django), including asynchronous programming.

• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, especially Cloud Run, App Engine, GKE, Vertex AI, BigQuery, and Cloud SQL.

• Proven experience integrating LLMs into production systems.

• Understanding of vector-based architectures and tools such as Vertex Vector Search or Pinecone.

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.

• Fluent English (bilingual level – mandatory).

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex.

• Knowledge of data engineering, ETL pipelines, and data workflows for AI systems.

• Experience with headless CMS or Digital Experience Platforms (DXP).

• Google Cloud certifications (Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Data Engineer).
