Why This Role Matters

The Admin and Marketing Wizard will play a key role in managing our administrative tasks and driving our marketing efforts. This individual will be responsible for a variety of tasks including graphic design, digital marketing, customer service, and document management. The ideal candidate will have a strong penchant for follow-through, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of various digital tools and platforms.

Occasional evening or weekend work may be required for events. Work is to be mainly done in an office environment with potential for remote flexibility.


How You'll Contribute

1. Administrative Duties:

  • Manage day-to-day office operations and maintain organized records.

  • Handle data input, manage databases, and ensure accurate and up-to-date information.

  • Proof and format documents for clarity and professionalism.

  • Provide exceptional customer service to donors, partners, clients and community members, on the phone and in person.

  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, events, and appointments as needed.

  • Order supplies and printed materials as needed.

  • Support the Executive Director with special projects and tasks as needed.

2. Marketing Duties:

  • Develop and execute digital marketing strategies to promote Fosterful’s mission, programs and fundraisers.

  • Design eye-catching graphics for social media, newsletters, and promotional materials using Canva.

  • Manage and update content on our website and social media platforms, engaging with followers in a timely manner.

  • Create and schedule email campaigns using Mailchimp.

  • Utilize Classy and Givebutter for online fundraising campaigns and donor management.

  • Assist in public relations efforts and relationship management with stakeholders.

3. Hospitality:

  • Maintain a tidy office environment in which to welcome guests and clients.

  • Answer phone calls, comforting and directing clients to the appropriate supervisor or resource.

  • Ensure hospitality items such as coffee, water and tea are well stocked and provided to guests as needed.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Proficiency in Google Office Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive, etc.).

  • Experience with Canva, Classy, Mailchimp, and Givebutter is preferred.

  • Strong graphic design skills and a keen eye for detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proven ability to proof and format documents accurately.

  • Exceptional organizational skills with a strong penchant for follow-through.

  • Previous experience in administrative support and digital marketing is highly desirable.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Graphic Design, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative or marketing role.

  • Experience in nonprofit organizations is a plus.

Perks & Benefits

This is a full time position starting at $24 - $27/hr, located in Vancouver, WA. Work is to be mainly done in an office environment with potential for remote flexibility.


A benefits package and parking will be included.

  • Health benefit reimbursement package of up to $450 per month 

  • PTO accrued at 10 hours per month
