An established behavioral healthcare facility in Central New Jersey is seeking an Access Triage Nurse Coordinator to join their evening shift team on a per diem basis. This role is essential in coordinating admissions, performing clinical assessments, and ensuring safe patient intake. Salary: $43.63/hour minimum starting rate

Schedule: Shift Hours: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM; Every other weekend required; 2 out of 6 recognized holidays; On-call: None.

• Conduct clinical triage for incoming patients and collect critical data for evaluation.
• Support Licensed Independent Practitioners (LIPs) with medical clearances and patient intake.
• Serve as a resource to staff and guide shift operations under supervisor oversight.
• Ensure accurate patient documentation and data entry into electronic health systems.
• Coordinate admissions, outpatient referrals, and assist in pre-certification processes.
• Act as the point of contact for inquiries regarding services, scheduling, and patient information.
• Participate in EMTALA audits and committee reporting.
• Engage in team training and orientation initiatives as needed.

Evening and Weekend Differential Pay Rates:

• Weekday Evening: +$4.00/hour
• Weekend Day: +$4.00/hour
• Weekend Evening: +$8.00/hour
• Weekday Night: +$6.00/hour
• Weekend Night: +$10.00/hour

Qualifications (Required):

• Graduate of an accredited RN program
• Active NJ RN License
• BLS certification (or obtained within 90 days of hire)
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's in Nursing (BSN/MSN)
• Experience in psychiatric or substance abuse settings
• Familiarity with NJ mental health screening or hospital admissions
